TexShare Card

TexShare is a cooperative borrowing system among Texas academic and public libraries. A TexShare card allows you to check out materials from other participating libraries. All RRHEC students, faculty, and staff are eligible to receive a TexShare card free of charge.

A few emergency cards may be available in the Library Services office.

Request a TexShare card online.

You may also request a TexShare card in the Library Services office. A valid ACC ID card must be shown at the time of the request.

Or, you may go to a library at one of the ACC campuses and request a TexShare card at the Circulation Desk.

Participating Libraries (libraries you may check out materials from):


General Information:

  • You must have your TexShare card with you in order to check out items from TexShare libraries. Some libraries also require that you have other forms of identification. Call ahead.
  • You are responsible for checking out and returning items to the participating library.
  • Cards are valid for the semester in which they were obtained.
  • Each library determines its own circulation rules including:
    • items that check-out (and which items cannot be checked-out)
    • how many items you may check out
    • how long you may keep an item
    • fines for overdue materials
